Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include:

·         Develop compact models for emerging nanoelectronic devices

·         Perform research on advanced logic and memory devices using TCAD simulation

·         Create automation and optimization tools for TCAD/compact modeling using a script language

·         Work as part of a global team focused on quality, reliability and performance

·         Identify and implement best practices for quality and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

·         Strong background in device physics and semiconductor technology

·         Experience on compact modeling of semiconductor devices is required

·         Experience on TCAD simulation of semiconductor devices is required

·         Strong programming skills using a scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, or Tcl) are required

·         Experience on machine-learning based algorithms is highly preferred

·         Experience on quantum transport (e.g., NEGF) is highly preferred

·         Experience on circuit performance benchmark and/or yield analysis is welcome

·         Experience on semiconductor process integration is welcome

·         Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, as part of a local and globally distributed team

·         Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation

·         MS or Ph.D. degree in EE or related fields (e.g., applied physics, material science)
