Job Title: GNSS Software Test Engineer/Lead

OVERVIEW & IMPACT

The SOC Location team (GNSS) is looking for a Software Test Lead with 5+ years of experience in managing GNSS test projects. The Software Test Lead's main responsibility will be to actively participate in the Software projects and lead all of the project test activities.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review of requirements and features
• Write test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Analyze test data and facilitate cross functional test data reviews
• Providing test support in bring-up of GNSS in new HW platforms
• Ability to isolate and identify root causes of test debugs independently.
• Create, follow up and resolve issues in issue tracking system
• Experience with software automation scripting languages such as python
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, as part of a local and globally distributed team.
• Ability to multi-task effectively under considerable pressure of deadlines and easily adapt within a fast-paced environment.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in managing test resources, maximizing and optimizing utilization while switching between projects is a plus.

 REQUIRED SKILLS (Education Certificates, Licenses, Travel)

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or equivalent
• Test Management Tools experience, Python, JIRA
• Both domestic and/or international travel will be required. 15% Travel.

PREFERED SKILLS

• ISTQB Foundation or higher
• GNSS experience
• Embedded C programming experience
