Job Title: Sr. Automotive CMOS Image Sensor Applications Engineer
Overview:
Samsung is a global leader in CMOS imaging technology. The Sr. CIS Application Engineer will support automotive CMOS image sensor business development and customer engagements in the US, reporting to the head of US Automotive CIS Business Development.
The role requires high levels of coordination with multiple teams globally to make sure Samsung’s automotive strategy is executed accordingly.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for application support for automotive CIS
Drive specification and development of evaluation SW/HW and reference designs internally and externally
Work with the design team on verification, validation, debugging, HW bring-up and application-specific performance tuning
Support customer engagements directly as needed and work with other Field Application Engineers
Work with marketing on product definition, bench-marking, and creation of marketing collateral
Support engagement with automotive and mobility ecosystem (OEMs, Tier 1s, startups)
Assist with creating product and application specific documentation
