Quality Technical Program Manager

This is a customer facing role responsible for coordinating the exchange of information to address key concerns related to Samsung DRAM product quality, specifications, compliance and ad hoc inquiries. This role will require the development and maintenance of tailored information management and tracking systems for visibility, reporting and issue follow-up.

General Responsibilities:

  • Work with local Quality Engineering to support key customers
  • Work with customers directly to identify, document and then publish reports to track technical issues requiring response, manage customer responsiveness Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Turn-around-Time, and other customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Participate in frequent communication with customers and Quality Engineering team members to understand their requirements and goals and then working with Samsung Quality team to communicate and align on these goals both internally and with the customer.
  • Manage outbound communications to customers, including Change Notifications, monthly or quarterly reports to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met.
  • Create and maintain a system to track details for a customers’ Quality related requirements across global teams. Drive solutions to deliver consistent results and sustainable customer satisfaction impact.
  • Implement and drive process creation necessary to achieve objectives and share best practices within the customer Quality organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • Experience in semiconductor or digital electronic hardware industries
  • One to two years of experience in a B2B customer facing role supporting highly technical content.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills is a must.
  • This role requires excellent writing skills with the ability to edit, clarify and consolidate customer expectations and report out on short timelines.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficient user of JIRA or related CRM

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in DRAM semiconductor memory industry
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence as a developer or admin
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for Data management, such as PivotTables, etc.

Someone able to gather and report critical information in a timely manner to expedite analysis and response. Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.  Able to interact and coordinating activities across multiple teams, over global locations to deliver highest customer satisfaction.
